Email Validation Reporting

The email validation page displays reporting data on the email validation process.


The data can be selected by date using the options at the top of the screen. 


The screen looks as follows:



Descriptions of the data points


Box Scores


The box scores deal with all emails uploaded into the system.


Emails Uploaded (Blue Box) - The number of emails uploaded to the system for checking


Locally Cleaned (Yellow Box)

                        - Cleaned: A count of emails that have been modified locally by the system to repair common email                                                             structural problems.

                       - OK:  A count of the emails that were deemed to meet structure rules.


Remote Checks (Green Box)

                       -  Invalid: The count that were returned as invalid email addresses from the remote email validation provider.                                             These are  removed from the system.

                       - Valid: Tee count that were passed as valid email addresses by the remote email validation provider.




Dealer Grid


The dealer grid shows data for booking confirmation communications only.


HeadingDescription
DealerThe Name of the dealer
BookingsThe count  of bookings created in the selected period
Emails Available at Time of BookingThe count  of customers who have an email address which a confirmation attempt will be processed at the point when the agent created the booking.
Emails With Bad AddressThe count  of email addresses deemed to be incorrect/bad after validation when the confirmation email attempt is made.
Emails SentThe count  of emails sent through the system to the provider for onward delivery
Emails BouncedThe count  of emails that were returned as bounced from the provider and did not reach their destination.
SMS SentThe count  of SMS attempted to be sent as confirmations at the time of booking as an email address was either invalid, bounced or unavailable.
SMS BouncedThe count of SMS returned as bounced and did not reach their destination.
Not Sent The count of customers who did not have any attempt either by email or SMS as no address for either SMS or Email  was available at the time of booking.
