To create a new product in Konnect Manager select:
Config -> Products
Select the 'New Product' Icon
from the top right of the screen.
This will display the following pop up for creating a new product.
Fill in the boxes:
Name: This is the name that will appear throughout the system on areas such as import tiles.
Description: Informational text displayed on the product page for reference.
Module: Select the module from the list for this product. A product can only be used in one module (e.g. Service Bookings or Sales or CSI)
Category: Select a category or Type from the drop down list.
Clients using this Product: Select each client that will have use of this product. Selecting a client enables a further option:
Selecting 'Allow Uploads' will automatically create a tile for imports in the system for the appropriate client.
Copy Journey Template From: Select a template option from another product which will be used as a starting point for this products templates.
Click the Save button.
Once completed the following objects will be created in the system:
- A new product.
- A new template journey for this product.
- A link the the client for this product.
- A new tile for importing data if 'Allow Uploads' was selected. Tiles will be visible on the Import Activities page as shown below:
