How to Configure EMAC for Service Plans

Summary

EMAC requires a small amount of configuration before it can be used.  Primarily each dealer has its own unique ID in EMAC which needs to be mapped to the dealers in Konnect CJM.


Master Switch

The use of the EMAC system is controlled by the system setting 'Use Emac Service Plan System'.  This setting will be OFF until go live at which point it should stay ON.  The setting lives within the EMAX System Setting category.

Client Configuration

The client needs to have the 'EMAC Bespoke' product enabled in order for the weekly campaigns to be automatically created.


Journey Template Configuration

A journey template can be configured for the EMAC Bespoke product in the normal way.



Dealer Configuration

Each Konnect dealer needs to mapped to one or more corresponding EMAC Dealer IDs.  Once obtained from EMAC they should be entered against the dealer brand as shown in the screenshots below.  If a dealer in EMAC only has a single ID, then you should enter the same ID against each dealer brand.


NOTE: The field is only displayed when the System Setting above is switched to ON.
