Summary
EMAC is a 3rd party API that provides information about service plans against vehicles (not customers). Konnect communicates with EMAC in order to determine the status of service plans and applies a process (as below) in order to ensure each imported customer record is assigned to the most appropriate campaign.
Regular Service Booking File - Import Process Logic
- Check the customer vehicle with EMAC for the existence of a service plan.
- If the customer has an active service plan, the customer is removed from the import campaign and added the to the current EMAC Weekly campaign which has its own journey. Otherwise, the customer is left in the import campaign.
- Flag the vehicle as having a service plan for later use with Bot processing.
Service Plan File - Import Process Logic
- Check the customer vehicle with EMAC for the existence of a service plan.
- If a plan already exists, do not import this customer record as they already have a service plan against their vehicle.
- Flag the vehicle as having a service plan for later use with Bot processing.
