Force a Customer Details Update

When importing a customer through file uploads customer data is updated automatically unless there are too many differences and an update is seen as a 'risky' process. 

When the customer magic matches and ALL the following fields do NOT match:

        - Email Address

        - Mobile Number

        - Full Name

        - Postcode

The customer details are NOT updated and the record/activity is not created or imported.

The import file will show the following:

Forcing an Update

To force the import of this row, change the wording from the above to 'force update' in the 'importstatus' column.

Then drop the spreadsheet back into the system in the usual way. 

Note: It is important to leave other records that you do not want changing as is so that the system does not import them again.
