Inbound Call Number Matching Process

Summary

This document defines the matching process for the number presented for an inbound call in order to display the correct 'dealer' name at the top of the page when an Agent accepts a call.


Number Searching

The phone system passes the inbound number to Konnect and Konnect searches in the following places and in the the order defined below.  As soon as a match is found the searching stops and the number and associated name are presented to the Agent.

Notes

If the inbound number is not matched then the Agent will see the name '(Unknown Dealer)'.

If the same number is defined in more than one place then the first match will be the one displayed to the agent.
